CONDITIONS OF SELLING OR SUPPLYING ALCOHOL AT THE WARREN CENTRE

Alcohol Licence (fee £10.00 per day)

You must agree to observe:

• The prevention of crime and disorder

• Public safety

•The prevention of public nuisance

• The protection of children from harm.

 

You are obliged to run your event with a view to promoting the licensing objectives.

You must be aware that it is an offence:

  • to supply alcohol to a person who is drunk or appears to be drunk

  • to serve a companion of a person who is drunk for the drunken person’s consumption

  • to sell alcohol to someone aged under 18 under any circumstances

  • to knowingly allow children to consume alcohol on the licensed premises

  • for a person under 18 to consume alcohol on licensed premises.

  • to allow disorderly conduct on licensed premises.

 

The prevention of public nuisance primarily refers to noise. You should be aware when entering and leaving the premises that noise should be kept to the minimum and that the neighbourhood is not disturbed. You may request a person who is drunk or disorderly to leave the premises. If he/she fails to do so when requested he/she is committing an offence.
